Roost Mitigation — Habitat for Bats

Roost mitigation is vital to the long term conservation and management of urban bat populations.

Roost mitigation benefits the local community as well as the bats by providing bats with a safe alternative to buildings.

                                                    “Bats in a bat house, are NOT in your house!”

             We strongly encourage the installation of bat houses tor similar alternate roost site to mitigate roost loss.

                          Bat houses should be installed prior to exclusion                                                                                                                                         as close as possible to the original roost site.
