Bat Conservation Programs

Programs for Schools, Conservation Organizations

and Other Interested Groups

Fly By Night, Inc. presents a fascinating education program. The program consists of slides, live bats (native Florida bats, & an African straw-colored flying fox), a question & answer session and additional educational resource materials. After leaving the program adults and children will understand the important role bats play in enhancing our environment. The program cost is $250. There will be a $50 fee to bring a flying fox. Program discounts are available for current BCI members. This presentation is ideal for small interactive groups. Schools usually schedule a number of presentations at different periods during the day or over consecutive days. A discount is available for multiple programs during the same day and location.

There is no charge for travel within 60 miles round-trip of central Florida. Distances over 60 miles round-trip will be calculated at the federal mileage rate of 48.5 cents per mile (after 1 September 2005). For distances greater than 200 miles please call FBN at 407-414-2132 to make special arrangements.

The students are always excited when they get to see live bats. When they leave the program they know the really important part bats play in enhancing our environment.

Fly By Night, Inc. has educational resource material that makes it easy for the teacher to continue working with the students after the program is over.
