Bats In Buildings – 2

BCI’s Bat Exclusion Professional Certificate

Bat Conservation International’s Bats in Buildings Program

In 2000, Laura approached Bat Conservation International about the need for a new program for ‘nuisance bats’ and BCI’s Bats in Buildings Project (BIB) was born with Laura as the project coordinator.  The goals were to provide a resource for information on urban bats and solutions to bats in buildings issues.  Through this project, bat exclusion professionals can receive Bat Exclusion Professional Certification.  Only companies who meet BCI standards and who agree to use approved exclusion methods receive certification as BCI Approved.
